Life is a journey, full of twists and turns
It can be tough and sometimes we feel burned
But though the path may be rocky and steep
We must find the strength to rise up and leap
We face challenges every day
Some small, some large, in every way
But though they test our mettle and might
We must find the courage to fight
For life is a constant battle, a struggle to survive
But with determination, we can surely thrive
So when the road ahead seems hard to bear
Remember, there is always a way to overcome, to dare
To be great, to rise above the fray
To find the strength to face another day
With courage in our hearts and hope in our eyes
We can face the challenges that life throws at us, with grace and surprise.
I can't help but feel a sense of doom.
The darkness closing in from every side,
Leaves me feeling lost and alone to hide.
I thought life was a journey to be pursued,
But now it feels like it's me being used.
Every step I take, another obstacle in my way,
Leaves me feeling drained and unable to play.
I thought I was strong and could handle it all,
But now I find myself against the wall.
The weight of the world bearing down on me,
Leaves me feeling hopeless and unable to see.
Is life giving up on me, or am I giving up on life?
Either way, the pain cuts like a knife.
I thought I had purpose and a reason to be,
But now it all feels like a cruel joke to me.
Yet even as I sit here and despair,
A glimmer of hope begins to flare.
Maybe there is still a chance for me,
To find my way and be set free.
So I will gather my strength and rise once more,
Determined to open that closed door.
I won't give up, no matter how hard it may seem,
For I know that I am stronger than I seem.
