I was once a young man, full of hope and pride
I thought I had it all figured out, with love by my side
But relationships came and went, and I was left to roam
Each one a lesson learned, as I searched for my home
I tried my hand at careers, but nothing seemed to stick
I bounced from job to job, feeling lost and sick
But I refused to give up, determined to succeed
I vowed to keep on trying, no matter what I'd need
So I reinvented myself, time and time again
I learned hard lessons, and let go of my pain
I stopped chasing what I thought I wanted, and listened to my heart
I discovered my true passions, and a brand new start
Now I'm a man, no longer young, but wiser and more true
I've learned to embrace my failures, and see them as lessons due
I'm grateful for the journey, and all that it has brought
I'm a real man now, and my future looks fraught
With hope and love, and all that I've learned
I know I'll keep on going, until my journey is returned
