Love Sonnets: My Heart

My heart is yours, my love, and yours alone,
No other can hope to make me feel so strong,
For with you I am happy and not prone,
To sadness and misery that last so long.

Your beauty, grace and complex soul,
Bring a joy to my life so unique,
And in my heart, all I can do is speak,
Of the love that I feel for you a-whole.

Your love is like a beacon in the night,
It guides me through the darkness of despair,
And no matter how hard I strive to fight,
The glorious light of your love is ever there.

My love for you will never ever die,
And with it I hope that you will never cry.
So I'll love you forever, until the day I die,
And in my heart, you'll always be mine.

Roses are red, violets are blue,
My love for you is ever so true.
Your eyes, your lips, your hair, your skin,
My heart, it beats, it's in a spin.

Your smile, so sweet, your laugh, so light,
Your touch, it sets ablaze my night.
Your voice, so soft, your words, so kind,
It's love that I feel, of this I'm sure in my mind.

Your beauty, my love, so sweet and pure,
It's you that I adore and that I'm so sure.
Your love it is the greatest gift,
It's you that I'll always love and never drift.

My love for you is like the shining sun
That casts its light upon the tender grass.
It warms me with its gentle rays of love
And fills my heart with joy that will not pass.

My love for you is like the fragrant rose
That blooms so sweetly in the summer air,
It makes me smile each time I see its grace
And brings me peace when I am filled with care.

My love for you is like a gentle dove
That spreads its wings and soars with hope and grace.
It lifts me up and carries me away
To places where there's nothing but your face.

My love for you is like a never-ending song
That plays in my heart and never fades away.
It fills me with a joy that will remain
Forever in my heart until my dying day.
