This is the poem of what to watch on TV
It's the same old thing when you turn on the TV
You search and search for something you want to see
But it's never what you need, it's always a mystery.
The options seem limited, what to watch?
You scroll through the channels and nothing you want catches
You want something funny, something insightful
But the search can be so long and often fruitless.
You check Netflix and Hulu and scroll through their lists
You try to find something that you can't resist
But the options are so few, you just can't decide
So you keep searching, hoping you'll find something you like.
Finally you stumble upon a show that looks great
It's funny and detailed and offers something to debate
You watch it and you love it, you can't get enough
Now you know what you want to watch, it was worth the tough.
Searching for something to watch,
It can be a royal pain,
But sometimes you just need a break
From life's mundane refrain.
You'll open up Netflix or Hulu,
The options, they do seem aplenty,
But there's nothing that really grabs you,
It's like "c'mon, why can't I find anything?"
So you'll search for something new,
Maybe a movie or show,
Something to watch and enjoy,
Something that you won't be let down by.
You'll try the comedies and dramas,
The action, romance, and thrillers,
But sometimes you need something more,
A program that's sure to make you holler.
So why not try a documentary,
Something to make you think,
Or perhaps a foreign film
For a cultural drink.
You could watch something old,
Something that's classic and timeless,
Or something more on the obscure,
Something that isn't quite mainstream.
So don't fret, don't despair,
There's something that's sure to please,
Whether it's something funny,
Or something to make you sneeze!
